My research interests focus on discovering and protecting from infectious diseases. Through an MRC London Intercollegiate Doctoral scholarship I am undertaking my PhD at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), investigating the skin microbiome and human attractiveness to malaria mosquitoes. I aim to identify microbes and microbial odours associated with human attractiveness to mosquitoes.
Prior to my PhD I obtained a first class BSc(Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Liverpool (2015-2018) and MSc in Epidemiology from LSHTM (2018-19). I currently teach on biomedical, statistics and entomology modules alongside my PhD research. I am interested in opportunities to apply my expertise to develop innovative technologies to improve health in the future.
